Dissatisfied Witches


Here are a couple things I did in lifedrawing last year:


The first one was done in some kind of soft-ish pencil and I darkened it up to be more visible.
The great thing about lifedrawing at Sheridan is that the models sort of become characters in costume - it makes it much more easy to think of an interesting scenario and draw it well... Towards the second half of 3rd year we're encouraged to start bringing our own style and ideas into our drawings and, for me, that didn't make sense. For some reason it finally clicked for me in Geordie Millar's class in 4th year. The key is to interpret, not copy what you see.
